Or is it just 2G for cellular PREPAID phone cards that exist in the market currently? And if you’ve ever heard of it could you tell me which mobile phone network (company) you saw it on? eg. telstra, optus etc..

Traveling to Australia, looking for best phone plan?

I will be traveling to australia in a few weeks and I will be there for two weeks. I currently have a Spring cellphone plan. I am wondering what is the cheapest way to be able to call/text my friends and family who have Sprint, and AT&T plans. Is there a way to use my current phone and plan? Or should I just get an international calling card? I have never traveled overseas before, so I am not sure how everything works there.

I am trying to send a text to an Autralia cell phone. I have tried a couple of combinations but the person never received the texts. The number given to me was 042295XXXX(x replacing the numbers for privacy) I really need to know the exact numbers to input. Also. I have a phone card and I want to call this number as well. What numbers do I input for that. It is very important that I contact this person but I have seen so many conflicting sites about the numbers to put in. PLease help me. Someone who has direct knowledge of texting and calling cell phones in Australia from US would be best in helping me. Thank you

i brought one of them phone cards to call to america from australia. well i what i wanna ask is that.. does leaving messeges on there home phones cost extra? or does it just take it from how many minutes/hours u have left on the card. if that makes sence lol please help
